Supported Independent Living

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an opportunity for those with disability to share a home and grow together.

Many people with disability will have access to NDIS funding to support and promote their independence, such as board in a shared house environment.

SIL comes with many support services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in order to help each person reach their goals of independence in their own homes and enjoy a connection to the broader community.

We provide spaces for people wanting to share a home with housemates who share similar life stages, interests and disability support needs. Find peace of mind knowing you, or your loved one, is surrounded by like-minded people with whom they can share housekeeping, meals and everyday experiences.

Our SIL homes:

  • Are custom modified to create adaptive living spaces, even for those with severe impairments or who have high support needs

  • Create warm, open environments that encourage social interaction and the building of lifelong friendships

  • Encourage the building of life skills. Our SIL housemates build confidence through the achievement of a sense of responsibility — all in a safe, supportive environment.
